Profilink announces the launch of Profilink Strox, a new lift & slide aluminium system designed to respond to contemporary architectural trends and the increasing demand for large glazed openings, smooth operation, and high energy performance.
Developed as part of Profilink's sliding solutions portfolio, Profilink Strox combines advanced engineering, refined design, and system flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications.
Smooth Operation and Refined Aesthetics
A key characteristic of Profilink Strox is its exceptionally smooth sash movement, ensuring effortless operation even with large and heavy glazing units. The system is engineered to deliver long-term comfort and reliability in everyday use.
The clean architectural appearance is enhanced by a hardware solution with no visible strike plates on the vertical frame parts, supporting minimalist design concepts and uninterrupted visual lines.
High Thermal Performance and Structural Stability
Profilink Strox offers excellent thermal insulation, contributing to energy-efficient building solutions. The system incorporates "flexible" polyamides in the sash, designed to prevent profile deformation caused by temperature differences between interior and exterior environments — known as the "banana effect."
Slim vertical profiles allow for larger glass surfaces and increased daylight, creating brighter interiors and a stronger connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Designed for System Compatibility and Flexibility
The new lift & slide system is fully integrated into the Profilink product ecosystem. Profilink Strox uses standardized accessories compatible with Profilink Orbis windows and doors, simplifying production and installation.
Additional design and installation flexibility includes:
